Astoria Hotel Italia provides an excellent work-friendly experience with a lovely view of the piazza. The hard wood floors in the rooms added a touch of elegance, and the king-size bed, which they refer to as a matrimonio bed, was very comfortable. Conveniently located parking is available behind the hotel for 18 euros a day. The breakfast, priced at 12 euros per person, features a full buffet with a variety of tasty options, ensuring a solid start to the day.

The coffee offered at breakfast was just so-so.

Checkin was a breeze and I got a lovely upgrade to a top floor room, made the whole experience much better. The breakfast was very nice, a real solid start to the day with a good variety, just what I needed after a long night.

It wasn’t cheap , but for the quality and everything, still acceptable.

The hotel has a superb central location for exploring Udine.

My stay was marred by loud noises from staff starting work at 7 am, which ruined my sleep. Additionally, the breakfast for 12 euros was disappointing, with many items not replenished even close to the end of serving. The TV selection was hardly useful, stuck with mostly Italian channels, making it frustrating when I just wanted to relax in my room.

This place was a strong match for shopping in Udine with fantastic value for money. The wide corridors and classy furnishings made the stay feel special. Check out the buffet breakfast for great food options.

I loved the charming old-style feel and the delicious food in the restaurant. it truly was a delightful surprise! However, the Wi-Fi was a bit unreliable at times. I'd definitely return for the cozy experience!

Don’t miss dining at the hotel restaurant—superb ambiance and delicious dishes! A friendly tip, consider visiting the piazza San Giacomo nearby for a taste of local life.

The hotel's central location made exploring the old town effortless, and dining at the restaurant was a highlight. the food and wine were outstanding. Enjoying freshly baked cookies was a delightful touch. While the interior felt somewhat dated, it still reflected the historical charm of the area. Noise from nearby bars occasionally disrupted the peace, and parking could be challenging with larger vehicles, despite the underground garage being available.

Charming atmosphere, attentive staff. the location is right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly easy to explore nearby attractions and enjoy local restaurants, while the complimentary wi-fi access enabled me to stay connected effortlessly during my visit.
